The Challenges
The weaving needed to work within a design language that combines French references with tropical materiality. The material had to complement the existing furniture and spatial elements while maintaining a natural, warm character within the overall composition.
A repetitive geometric pattern formed by nested rectangular frames, creating a structured rhythm with subtle variations in depth. Natural rattan softens the geometry with warmth and texture, connecting French-inspired design with a tropical material language.

The Solutions
BYO Living applied natural rattan weaving as a tactile material element, introducing texture and warmth while complementing the space’s combination of vintage furniture, fluid forms, and tropical references. The weaving helps connect the different material expressions into a cohesive interior language.
